Myconid Spore King Solo

Level 65 - I hate this mob. The camp itself hadn't been a bad one, I don't mind sitting around killing endless PHs. It gives me time to work or catch up on movies. Actually killing him was the biggest challenge ever. For those that don't know, the Spore King is extremely resistant. Like, beyond what you'd expect. I had tash and HoS on him with my TDoK and he still would resist mez and slow. To cap things off, he's a hard hitter. So I have to really hope he doesn't resist mez when it rolls around or I'm toast. It took me 4 attempts, getting below 100 hitpoints twice for me to finally kill him. On my last attempt, I blew Puretone in the vain hope upping my DS would do the trick, but I still only got him to 50% hp before the disc dropped. Suffice to say, I got lucky on a string of mezzes and I got luckier on the kill. He dropped the robe, which means I will probably end up back at this camp sometime in the future. Probably not for a long, long, long time, though.
