Level 65 - Every batch of uploads, there's always one tricky encounter. The Despoiler is the tricky one of this lot. He spawns at the very top of the mud temple, right in between two mobs, with 4 mobs at the base of the temple, and 2 mobs wandering around the perimeter of the temple. Immediately before the temple is the raptor grove, where another 5 mobs sit in a small area. All the mobs, except the aforementioned raptors in the grove, see through invisibility. Pulling this was incredibly difficult. Not only did I have limited real estate to split the mobs (the hall between the mud temple and the raptor grove is extremely small and crooked), but the Despoiler and a couple of the other mobs in the mud temple are casters. I came close to dying three times before I got the Despoiler single. I also found out quickly that he's slightly resistant and too high for my Ancient mez to land. So I busted out the old faithful Tash orb and proceeded to work my magic. It took awhile to hammer him down, since he hits hard and fast despite being slowed and alsobecause he managed to sneak a CH past me, but I ended up pulling out the victory.
